Welcome to my Freakin Beauty Blog! The idea of a beauty blog has been floating around in my mind since I was re-blogging golden hour flower fields on Tumblr, but with the big IG/Youtube bang, my loud passion for starting a beauty blog turned into a whisper. Being at the precipice of yet another technological boom – Artificial Intelligence – the importance of putting out content for humans, by humans, feels necessary now more than ever. In a sense, it’s my duty to talk about all-things-beauty, dang it!
I owe my passion for beauty to my mom, who never failed to gently wake me up in the mornings with the sound of her Revlon lipstick clicking shut, or the gentle spritz of her perfume that often signaled it was my last chance to get out of bed. In my household, beauty was self expression and that’s exactly what I intend for this blog to be. Truthfully, there’s only so much my friends can hear me talk about beauty so I hope that by you being here, you volunteer to the yapping -nay, tapping – and find some sort of escape from the terrifying, horrific, and cruel world we are currently living in.
